Survival Through the Weekend

As an avid support of Constitutional freedoms, I decided to increase my preparedness arsenal. I could understand that automatic weapons (that would be banned by Obama) would be sold out pretty quickly, but trying for just the basics was painful itself. Scopes, magazines, ammunition (all calibers), cleaning sets, gun parts, accessories, cases, and more. Mostly completely sold out. I tried several local firearms dealers and several online supply stores as well. I guess I was lucky enough to order from CheaperThanDirt over the weekend. They have a new display on their home page with the following:

Taking in consideration what has happened during the past few months in the firearms industry, there is going to be some wacky stuff taking place when Barack Hussein Obama and his cronies ban automatic weapons and put a 500% tax on ammunition, even tripling in price overnight for firearms as stated by the Financial Wisdom blog:

As you might as well guessed, with the likely chance that Barack Hussein Obama will ban and outlaw guns, there is a huge demand to get these automatic rifles before they become banned permanently. The last ban passed in 1994 was for 10 years with a provision that it would expire unless Congress renewed it. The AR-15 rifles doubled and even trippled in price after the ban went into effect.

Perhaps that’s why everyone is sold out of everything. Everyone is buying up as much as they can knowing either (1) the price is going up and they don’t want to pay the higher price (2) the price is going up and they want to buy now to resell it later.
