Within the past couple years, a new form of burglary has developed using what is called, “lock bumping,” similar to a lock pick gun, but much simpler and easier to do and leaves no trace of forced entry. Here’s a new video concerning this:
This has caused an increase in low-end burglars, and when taking in consideration our economic recession, the number of thefts is expected to rise exponentially. People with no jobs and no money will ultimately resort to burglary to survive. Their first victim’s will be those with no defensive security. Here’s some solutions:
1. Protect yourself with guns and ammo
2. Get a monitored home security system and USE IT
3. Change your locks to those which are difficult to bump, such as Medeco or Schlage Primus or even electronic or magnetic locks.
