Are you getting shots that hit the target, but not directly at bulls eye? It may not be your sights. Try taking a look at the following chart. See if there is something that you can improve on. It may help you with your practice shooting. As an instructor, the single most thing that I notice about students that do not not hit the intended spots on target is that that they are not keeping their sight alignment as they pull the trigger. In other words, the only thing that should be moving is your index finger to pull the trigger. Want some really good practice? Then attach a laser to your pistol and do some dry-firing exercises. By visually seeing where the red dot moves as you pull the trigger can really help.
