The Fourth of July is a most celebrated holiday: fireworks, flags, festivities. Sometimes we often forget the meaning of the event. This was a declaration of independence from a tyrannical king. Similar to what our current government is trying to accomplish; we must remember that free people own guns and slaves don’t. When the people own the guns, then the people have the power, not the government.
